Angelina Wang

Angelina Wang is an accomplished volunteer and leader with extensive experience in community engagement and advocacy. Currently serving as a Volunteer and Development Assistant at Daily Bread Food Bank, Angelina manages corporate volunteering programs and improves processes through data automation while supporting fundraising events and donor communications. As a 1UP Fellow and MGCI Chapter President at Urban Minds, Angelina empowers high school students to enhance urban spaces, showcasing leadership at events such as DesignTO Festival 2023. Additional roles include Youth Council Co-Communications Lead at Thrive Youth Development Canada and Research Intern in Urban Planning at Toronto Metropolitan University. Daily Bread distributes fresh and shelf-stable food and fresh-cooked meals to 128 member agencies and 193 food programs across Toronto. Daily Bread also publishes the influential Who's Hungry report — an annual survey measuring trends in food insecurity and poverty in Toronto — to educate the public and spark policy change.
