Ben Steiner

Ben Steiner is an accomplished sports journalist and content producer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple media outlets. Currently serving as an Associate Producer at CBC since November 2021, Ben manages online content while also breaking news in university sports and alpine skiing. As a freelance writer, Ben covers a wide range of topics including the Olympics, university sports, and professional leagues for prestigious organizations such as the Toronto Star, Major League Soccer, and Sports Illustrated. In addition to editing and writing for Canadian soccer and other major sports, Ben founded and serves as Editor in Chief at 49 Sports, focusing on U Sports coverage. Educationally, Ben is completing a B.A. in Sport Media at Ryerson University, further enriching a solid foundation in sports journalism and digital content creation.
