Emily Hawkins

Emily Hawkins is a skilled journalist with a diverse background in reporting and editorial roles. Currently serving as a City Reporter at Daily Mail since January 2023, Hawkins previously worked as a Reporter at City AM from August 2021 to February 2023 and at The Morning Advertiser from June 2018 to August 2021. Early experience includes editorial positions at Concrete, UEA's Official Student Newspaper, where Hawkins was Editor-in-Chief and Concrete News Editor from May 2016 to May 2018. Additional stints include working with the news desk at Guardian News & Media and The Independent, as well as research for Women in Journalism's project on gender representation. Hawkins holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of East Anglia, where studies were completed between 2015 and 2018.
