Joel Cooper

Joel Cooper is an experienced media professional with a strong background in production and editing, currently serving as the Assistant Head of Production at Daily Mail since August 2023, overseeing the launch of Mail+. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Sub-editor at The National News, where Joel managed a diverse team and implemented a new subbing system, and Assistant Chief Sub-editor at Daily Mail, providing leadership in sub-editing. Previous positions also encompass coaching private clients in confidence and communications, and various editorial roles at prominent publications such as The Straits Times, The Sun, and The Daily Mail. Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Leeds.
