Helena DeLigt began their work experience in 1990 as a Therapist and Emergency Services Counselor at Middle Peninsula - Northern Neck Community Services Board. Helena then worked as a Clinical Coordinator at Correctional Medical Services, Greensville Corr Center from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, Helena joined Daily Planet as the Chief Operating Officer for Programs.
Helena DeLigt obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a focus on Social Work and Nonprofit Management from Virginia Commonwealth University. The specific years of attendance or completion of the program are not mentioned.
