Thomas Ulm

Thomas Ulm is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Product Development for Software & Electronics at Daimler Truck AG since July 2021, Ulm previously held several key positions at Daimler Trucks North America, including Chief Engineer roles in Cab Systems and Entire Vehicle Engineering, as well as Director of Engineering Operations. With a background as Senior Manager in IT Engineering at Mercedes-Benz do Brasil and various roles at Daimler AG, Ulm has a strong foundation in engineering processes, product documentation, and IT systems. Ulm obtained a Dipl. Ing. in Vehicle Engineering from Technische Hochschule Ulm between 1996 and 2000.
