Ian van de Kamp is a skilled industrial designer with a diverse background in product research, design, and engineering development. Currently serving as a Junior Digital Sculptor 1 at Daimler Truck North America since March 2024, Ian previously held the role of Industrial Designer at TotalMount by Innovelis, where seven patents were secured and products were developed from initial research to manufacture-ready CAD. Ian also demonstrated leadership as President of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), where fundraising and outreach initiatives were led for the UW Industrial Design program. Notably, Ian contributed as an Industrial Design Consultant for Mission Accessories, and as an Aerodynamics Engineer for the UW Formula Motorsports team. Ian holds a Master's in Transportation Design from SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design and completed a one-year course in Car Design at the same institution, also having earned a degree from the University of Washington.
