Kary Schaefer

Kary Schaefer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. Currently serving as Chief Engineer of Cab, Entire Vehicle, and DT Mexico Engineering at Daimler Truck North America since September 2015, Kary has held various roles including General Manager of Product Marketing and Strategy. Previous experience includes directorship in engineering at Cloud Cap Technology and multiple senior engineering positions at Daimler Trucks North America from 1995 to 2012. Kary also worked at Boeing as a Weight Engineer and held mechanical engineering positions at Pacific Testing Laboratories and Abossein Engineering early in the career. Kary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and an AA in Engineering Science from Bellevue College.
