Kyle O'Brien

Kyle O'Brien is an experienced Autonomous Vehicle Test Engineer at Daimler Truck North America since June 2019, previously serving as a Research Fellow. Prior roles include Autonomous System Techlead for Global Formula Racing from June 2018 to July 2021 and Recovery Lead, Financial Manager for the OSU NASA University Student Launch Initiative Team from August 2017 to June 2018. Kyle O'Brien also worked as a Control Engineering Intern at LVD Strippit in mid-2017. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science, anticipated in May 2026, and a Master of Science in Robotics, completed in May 2021, both from Oregon State University, along with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University, earned in 2018.
