Head Of Aftermarket Connectivity Strategy at Daimler Trucks North America

Michol Porter has a diverse work experience in various roles at different companies. In 2010, Michol started as an IT Lead Business Analyst at Daimler Trucks North America. From there, they progressed to becoming a Senior Information Technology Project Manager, where they supervised a team and executed organizational wide projects. Michol then transitioned to the role of Support Manager to the Director of IT Infrastructure before taking on the position of Continuous Improvement Manager (PMO), where they led cross-functional projects and delivered holistic solutions. Michol also served as the Chief of Staff/Portfolio Manager in the Office of GM Global Digital Vehicle Solutions, where they established a new business division and implemented SAFe methodologies. Currently, they are the Head of Aftermarket Connectivity Strategy at Daimler Trucks North America, focusing on enhancing the customer experience through connected data and solutions. Michol is an Advisory Board Member for Business Analytics at Oregon State University College of Business and a Member and Mentor at Women Leaders In Data & AI (WLDA), where they contribute to a community focused on professional and personal growth.

Michol Porter received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a double option in Management and International Business from Oregon State University in 2010. In 2009-2010, they also studied International Business and Management at Lund University School of Economics and Management Lund. In 2019, they became an Aresty Scholar and completed Executive Education at The Wharton School. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including SAFe 4 Product Owner / Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2019, Certified Customer Experience Professional from Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) in February 2019, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in July 2018, and PMP - Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute in March 2017.
