Sean Waters

Sean Waters has extensive experience in the legal and regulatory field. Sean began their career as an Attorney at Lionel Sawyer & Collins, where they worked from September 2000 to April 2005. In 2006, they joined Daimler Trucks North America, where they held multiple roles. Sean started as a Corporate Counsel from April 2006 to July 2011. Sean then became the Director of Product Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, responsible for legal and regulatory emission and safety compliance and certification for DTNA and Detroit Diesel Corporation. In November 2019, they were promoted to Vice President of Product Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at Daimler Trucks North America. Throughout their work, Sean has represented companies in industry trade associations and developed strategies to comply with safety and emissions requirements.

Sean Waters earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Rhetoric and Political Science from Willamette University, where they attended from 1992 to 1996. Sean then pursued higher education at the University of Oregon School of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from 1997 to 2000.
