Brian Shapona

Brian Shapona is an experienced electrical engineering professional with a robust background in automation and controls management. Currently serving as the Electrical Controls Engineering Manager at Dairy Farmers of America since June 2018, Shapona oversees automation in 23 facilities across the northeast, focusing on programming, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvements. Previous roles include Electrical Controls Engineer at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and RMS / Pettibone, as well as Sr. Project Engineer at Rehrig Pacific Logistics, where Shapona designed integrated control panels for high-capacity processes. Early career experience includes project engineering in packaging systems at Liberty Technologies and field service roles implementing locomotive radio remote control systems at Cattron-Theimeg. Shapona holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Tech from Youngstown State University and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.
