Shaun Hazelton

Shaun Hazelton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy advisory roles related to agriculture and resource management. Currently serving as a Senior Regional Policy Advisor at DairyNZ since September 2022, Shaun previously worked as a Policy Advisor at Federated Farmers from May 2021 to September 2022. Prior to these roles, Shaun gained valuable experience as a Senior Kayak Guide at The Boatshed Kayaks from January 2015 to December 2021, and as a Farm Services Resource Officer with the Waikato Regional Council from November 2017 to May 2021, focusing on rural compliance and consents to manage New Zealand’s natural resources. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Management Studies with a focus on Agribusiness and Supply Chain Management from The University of Waikato, completed in 2018.
