Barry Pollard

Barry Pollard has extensive experience in the IT industry, with their most recent position being as the Principal Cloud Storage & Backup Engineer at Daisy Group since 2012. In this role, they are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing backup and storage platforms for a Managed Services environment. Barry has expertise in various systems including Veeam Backup & Replication, IBM Spectrum Protect, EMC Unity, and HP MSAs. Prior to this, Barry worked as a Server Operations Engineer at 2e2 from 2010 to 2012, where they gained knowledge in various technologies such as Windows, AD, Citrix, DNS, Exchange, and VMWare. Before that, they were a Technical Analyst at the same company from 2010 to 2011.

Barry Pollard attended Northumbria University from 1998 to 2001, where they studied English Language and Literature/Letters and earned a degree in English Studies.
