Deborah Yang

Deborah Yang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Deborah is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of DAIZY, a position they have held since July 2020. Deborah is also part of the Executive Council at Long Ridge Equity Partners since August 2020. In addition, they serve as an Advisor to Executives at Spark Change, starting from September 2020.

Deborah has also been actively involved with various organizations. Deborah is a Co-President and Co-Chair of the EMEA Board at Women in ETFs, which focuses on promoting diversity in the ETF industry. Deborah has been in this role since January 2015.

Furthermore, Deborah has had a successful career at MSCI Inc., where they held multiple senior management positions. Deborah served as the Managing Director, Global Head of ESG Indexes from March 2016 to March 2020. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director, Head of Index, EMEA; and global product lead for Factor and ESG indexes from January 2013 to June 2018. Additionally, Deborah was the Managing Director, Head of Asia ex Japan coverage from December 2004 to January 2013. Deborah played a key role in expanding the business in the Asia ex Japan region by opening offices in Shanghai and Seoul, and expanding coverage teams. Deborah also worked as the Vice President, Head of Asset Owner coverage, and Head of San Francisco office from December 2001 to December 2004.

Earlier in their career, Deborah held the position of Vice President Of Business Development at i-drive.com, an early online file storage cloud computing internet company. Deborah was responsible for managing business development activities and played a role in the company's acquisition by Philips Electronics. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate in the Investment Services Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette from August 1997 to December 1999. Deborah started their professional journey as an Assistant Marketing Brand Manager at Nestlé from August 1992 to August 1994.

Deborah's work experience reflects their expertise in various areas, including entrepreneurship, finance, sustainability, and marketing. Deborah has demonstrated leadership abilities, particularly in expanding business operations and promoting diversity in the financial industry.

Deborah Yang has completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at the University of California, Berkeley, with a major in Finance and Marketing at the Haas School of Business, along with a minor in English Literature. Furthermore, they have also obtained an MBA degree from Harvard Business School. The duration of their studies at both institutions is unknown.
