Amy Hansen PHR SHRM-CP FPC

Amy Hansen has over 20 years of diverse work experience in human resources, payroll, and implementation roles. Amy is currently employed at Dakota Electric Association as a Human Resources professional. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at General Parts Group, where they oversaw HR operations for 400 employees across multiple states. Amy also worked as the Director of Payroll and Human Resource Services at Goldleaf Partners and as a Human Resource Generalist at Restaurant Technologies, Inc., where they handled various HR functions and ensured accurate payroll processing for a large multi-state workforce. Earlier in their career, Amy served as the Payroll and Benefits Manager at Eagle Creek Software Services, managing payroll and benefit compliance for over 250 employees in 32 states. Amy began their career at ADP in the implementation-sales role, where they facilitated a seamless onboarding experience for new clients and helped the company exceed their new client install goals. Amy holds certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, and FPC.

Amy Hansen PHR SHRM-CP FPC completed their Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from Metro State University between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they earned an Associates of Applied Science degree in Business Management, Sales & Marketing from Rasmussen College between 2001 and 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Amy has obtained several certifications. Amy received the SHRM-CP certification from the SHRM institution in March 2015. In January 2011, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Amy also holds the Fundamentals of Payroll Certification from the American Payroll Association, which they obtained in January 2003.
