Corey Hintz has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Corey started their career as a Business Analyst at Navitaire, a wholly owned Accenture Company, from October 1998 to April 2002. Corey then moved on to Northwest Airlines, where they worked as a Financial Analyst in the Financial Projects and Controllers Group within the Technical Operations Department. Corey'sresponsibilities included preparing business case write-ups, month end close activities, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis. Corey joined SuperValu as a Senior Financial Analyst in April 2005 and worked on providing gross profit analysis for the Retail Finance Department. Corey also streamlined reporting processes and built an automated financial model using Hyperion Essbase. Corey then moved to GMAC/Residential Capital Corporation, where they held multiple roles from June 2006 to January 2010, including Senior Financial Analyst, Lead Financial Analyst, and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. During this time, they provided financial planning and analysis support, led the consolidation of forecast and annual plan financial results, developed core versus non-core operations reporting, and conducted business valuations. Corey then joined TCF Bank, where they worked as a Financial Analyst IV and later as an Assistant Vice President | Financial Reporting Manager. Corey'sresponsibilities included financial planning and analysis, coordinating the annual planning process, consolidating plan financials, and managing the credit quality financial reporting system conversion project. Corey'slatest role is with Dakota Electric Association, where they have been serving as the Director of Financial Planning, Analysis and Regulatory from July 2014 to June 2019 and currently holds the position of CFO | VP of Financial Services. In this role, they provided financial planning and analysis support, managed the annual operating budget and long-range financial forecast processes, regulatory filings, financial support for project initiatives, and ad hoc analysis. Corey is also a Board Director at Minnesota Rural Electric Trust since September 2020.

Corey Hintz completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management in 1999. Prior to that, they attended the University of Oslo (UiO) in 1998, studying International Finance. In 1995-1996, Corey also spent a year at Bismarck State College, focusing on Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies.
