Jeffrey Rainey

Jeffrey Rainey serves as the Economic Development Director at Dakota Electric Association since December 2019, focusing on attracting new commercial, industrial, and retail businesses to the service area while collaborating with community leaders. Prior to this role, Jeffrey held several positions at GREATER MSP, including Manager & Staff Lead of the MSP Regional Air Services Partnership and Project Manager for Business Investment, where efforts were directed towards business retention and attraction in the Minneapolis Saint Paul metro region. Additional professional experience includes roles at Kroll Ontrack, Oracle Corporation, and PDI, Inc. Jeffrey Rainey earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Stanford University.
