William Gehlen

William Gehlen is a seasoned geologist with over 30 years of experience in exploration and project evaluations in the Americas. Currently, William serves as the Manager of Geology at Dakota Gold Corp since January 2022 and holds the position of Independent Director at Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd since March 2020. Previously, William was the Director of Geology at JR Resources Services Corp from January 2021 to April 2022 and the Manager of Corporate Development at Gold Standard Ventures Corp from April 2018 to January 2021, where responsibilities included generating and evaluating new business opportunities. Additional experience includes roles as Manager of Resource Development for the Americas at OceanaGold Corporation and VP Exploration at Pacific Rim Mining Corp, managing exploration in Latin America and overseeing the El Dorado LSE Gold deposit development. William holds a Master's degree in economic geology from the University of Idaho and a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Oregon.
