Samantha Dunn

Samantha Dunn has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Samantha is currently working as the Learning Team Director at Dakota Wesleyan University, where they create opportunities for collaboration and manages the mission, assessment, and learning team activities. Prior to this, they held the position of Academic Technologist at the same university, where they researched software for face-to-face, hybrid, and online learning and provided support in integrating technology into instruction. Samantha also has experience as an Adjunct Instructor at Bradley University and Heartland Community College, as well as a Civil Service role at South Dakota State University. Samantha has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at both Illinois State University and Iowa State University. Additionally, Samantha has worked in various roles such as a Concessionist at Normal CornBelters, a Nanny (self-employed and live-in), and a Keyholder at JOANN Stores.

Samantha Dunn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of South Dakota in 2011. Samantha then pursued a Master's degree in English Language and Literature, General from Iowa State University, completing it in 2016. From 2016 to 2020, Samantha attended Illinois State University and obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree, specializing in Communication Education and Administration. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications related to educational technology and instructional design from institutions such as Google, LinkedIn, and Badgr (now part of Instructure).
