Vince Redder

Professor in the Department of English and Languages & Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at Dakota Wesleyan University

Vince Redder is an experienced academic leader currently serving as the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at Dakota Wesleyan University since August 2001, overseeing curriculum and administration while also teaching British Literature, freshman composition, and the history of English in the English department. Prior to this role, Vince worked as a Probation Officer for Wichita County Adult Probation from May 1990 to July 1998, where responsibilities included supervising misdemeanor and felony probationers and writing presentence investigation reports. Vince's early career included an appointment as Associate Pastor at the Diocese of Ft. Worth from July 1983 to August 1988. Vince holds a Ph.D. in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from the University of South Carolina, a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from Midwestern State University, a Secondary Teacher Certification from the same institution, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature from The University of Dallas.
