Dalial Freitak

Chief Scientific Officer at Dalan Animal Health, Inc.

Dalial Freitak has extensive work experience in various research and academic roles. Dalial is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Dalan Animal Health, Inc. since December 2018. Prior to this, they were an Associate Professor at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz starting from May 2018.

From June 2012 to May 2018, Dalial worked as a University Researcher at the University of Helsinki in the Centre of Excellence in Biological Interactions. Dalial was also the Principal Investigator at Helsinki University during this time.

Before joining the University of Helsinki, Dalial was a Post-Doc at Justus Liebig Universität Gießen from June 2009 to May 2012. Dalial completed their Ph.D. at Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, where they worked as a Ph.D. Student from January 2005 to April 2009.

Dalial Freitak obtained their Master of Science degree in Animal Ecology from the University of Tartu from 2001 to 2003. Following that, they pursued their doctoral degree at Friedrich Schiller University Jena from 2005 to 2009, specializing in Ecology, molecular biology, and insects. Dalial completed their doctoral studies and earned the degree of Dr. rer. nat in these fields.
