Lauren Wood

Lauren Wood is an experienced professional in veterinary and animal care, currently serving as the Beekeeping Outreach Coordinator at Dalan Animal Health, Inc. since December 2022, and as a Veterinary Assistant at The Veterinary Clinic since September 2020. Previous roles include working as Equine Physical Therapy Barn Staff for the UGA Equestrian Team, Animal Care Intern at Bear Hollow Zoo, Veterinary Physician Assistant at Community Pet Care Clinic, and a member of the Large Animal Emergency Critical Care Team at the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Additional experience includes assisting in surgical procedures at Kennesaw Mt Veterinary Services, volunteering as an Education Volunteer at Birmingham Zoo, and working as a Beauty Advisor at Ulta Beauty. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia, along with a minor in Avian Biology.
