Alexander Baker is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Toronto since September 2013, focusing on the research and commercialization of an ocular device. Baker previously completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry at the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering, achieving this degree from the University of Toronto between 2013 and 2019. Additionally, Baker is a Co-Founder of Synakis, which specializes in ocular medical devices, a role held since April 2019. Baker holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology from Dalhousie University, earned between 2009 and 2013.
