Asha Jeffers

Asha Jeffers, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University since July 2019, with prior experience as a Faculty Fellow at the University of King's College from July 2017 to June 2019, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at York University from September 2011 to May 2017. Asha has taught English literature and general education courses to undergraduate students. In addition, Asha served as an Editor at Moonkkang Foreign Language Academy from January 2010 to January 2011, developing diverse English language learning materials for students ranging from elementary to high school. Asha's educational background includes a PhD in English Language and Literature from York University (2011-2018), a Master's degree in Cultural Studies from McMaster University (2008-2009), and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Guelph (2004-2008).
