Jeffrey Larsen

Jeffrey Larsen serves as the Assistant Vice President of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Executive Director of Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship at Dalhousie University since January 2016. Concurrently, Jeffrey is the Site Lead for CDL Atlantic at the Creative Destruction Lab from September 2017. Jeffrey co-founded Watts Wind Energy Inc. in January 2008, a community economic development investment fund focused on wind energy. Previous roles include Director at DSME Trenton, President and CEO of ReNova Scotia Bioenergy Inc., Executive Director roles in the Province of Nova Scotia, and President and CEO of Strategic Opportunities Fund Inc. Jeffrey practiced law specializing in renewable energy and business law at McInnes Cooper and held executive positions at Seaforth Engineering Group Inc. and Clarke Inc. Educational credentials include an MBA from Imperial College London, an LLM from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, a JD from the University of Toronto, and a BA from McMaster University.
