Kevork M. Peltekian

Kevork M. Peltekian is a Professor of Medicine and Surgery at Dalhousie University, with a career spanning from July 2003 to the present, during which time also served as Acting Head and Associate Professor. Since 1998, Peltekian has been the Medical Director of the Liver Transplantation Team at the Atlantic Multi-Organ Transplantation Program. Leadership roles include Past-Chairperson of the Canadian Liver Foundation and Past-President of the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver. Additionally, Peltekian is President of Atlantic Hepatology Services Inc. and held the position of Head of the Division of Digestive Care & Endoscopy at Capital District Health Authority from February 2015 to September 2021. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the same institution.
