Dario Ghirardello

Dario Ghirardello is a highly experienced senior designer specializing in composite material components and racing car engineering. Currently employed at Dallara since July 2009, Dario has held multiple positions, including project engineer, contributing to the development of steering wheels and cockpit bodyworks for Formula 1. As a senior designer, Dario leads the design of carbon monocoques and steel roll cages for competition vehicles, specifically the Renault RS01. Previous roles include designing a chassis for a commercial vehicle conversion and 3D modeling for product development. Dario holds a Master’s degree in racing car engineering from the University of Camerino and has additional qualifications in information and automation engineering from recognized institutions.
