Cimajie Best currently serves as the Senior Manager of Local & Regional Affairs at DART since October 2024 and previously held roles in public affairs at Allyn Media, and as a Development Associate at For Oak Cliff, where grant writing efforts raised significant funding. Experience includes managing fellowships at The OpEd Project, directing youth curriculum at Café Momentum, and enhancing community initiatives at Dallas County and the City of Dallas. Early career roles include supporting the CEO at the Tom Joyner Foundation and working as a personal assistant in the Louisiana House of Representatives. Cimajie Best holds a BA in Philosophy, Pre Law from Louisiana State University and completed additional education at the University of Oxford.
