Arthur Thomas

Arthur Thomas is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in various supervisory roles within the Dallas Sheriff Department and Dallas County. Currently serving as Section Commander since October 2022, Arthur oversees the 911 Call Center dispatching units for emergencies and non-emergencies. Previously, as Lieutenant and Sergeant, responsibilities included managing patrol operations and supervising the Intake Division. In addition to law enforcement duties, Arthur has coordinated security for the Women That Soar Awards since 2008 and serves as Police Officer Coordinator at the Joule Hotel Dallas. With a background in the U.S. Military and a commitment to training and supervising fellow officers, Arthur Thomas brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the field.
