Grace Shin

Grace Shin is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Appellate Division of the Dallas County District Attorney's Office since January 2017. Responsibilities include handling appeals of criminal convictions, addressing non-capital post-conviction applications for writs of habeas corpus, and providing trial support. Prior to this role, Grace worked as an Associate Attorney at Ekvall & Byrne, LLP, specializing in general civil litigation defense, and at Cooper & Scully, PC, focusing on medical malpractice defense. Earlier in the career, Grace was involved in toxic torts defense litigation at DeHay & Elliston and held a position at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office from January 2002 to October 2003. Grace Shin holds a Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from The University of Texas at Austin.
