Deanne McElroy

Deanne McElroy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Deanne started their career in 1997 at The Dannon Company, where they worked their way up to the position of Manager, Corporate Responsibility. At Dannon, they managed cause marketing, community relations, and employee volunteerism. Deanne then joined the American Society of Radiologic Technologists in 2004 as a Foundation Development Coordinator, where they focused on coordinating grant programs and improving awareness and efficiencies. Deanne then moved to Wells Fargo in 2005 as the Director of Community and Media Relations, where they managed internal communications, public relations, grant allocation, employee volunteerism, and various community partnerships. In 2008, Deanne joined the Girl Scouts Heart of the South as the Annual Appeals Manager, responsible for writing donor newsletters, direct mail appeals, planning events, and managing the Raisers Edge donor database. In 2012, they worked at Edward Jones as a Branch Office Administrator, before joining the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas in 2013 as a Fund Development Associate. Currently, Deanne is employed at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum as the Membership and Analytics Manager.

Deanne McElroy attended Trinity University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & French with a minor in Communications. In 2017, they enrolled at Collin College to pursue studies in Human Resources Management and Services. Additionally, they have acquired a Certificate in Management from Cornell University and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from The University of New Mexico.
