Tammiko Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tammiko began their career at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 1995, providing administrative support to the Chairman of the Biochemistry department. During their time there, they also assisted with grant applications and created various presentations and spreadsheets.
In 2005, Tammiko joined Vinson & Elkins as a New Business Intake and Records Specialist II. In this role, they conducted thorough checks to ensure there were no conflicts of interest or other issues with potential clients.
From 2008 to 2009, Tammiko worked at Cedar Hill ISD as a Registrar and Data Specialist. Tammiko was responsible for enrolling and withdrawing students, maintaining records, and liaising with outside agencies.
Tammiko then moved on to Parkland Hospital, where they held multiple roles. From 2010 to 2012, they served as an Administrative Assistant, providing support to various departments and managing travel arrangements. From 2012 to 2016, they took on the role of Administrative Assistant for the Bluitt-Flowers and Oak West Health Centers, resolving patient complaints and supporting the clinics' operations.
In 2016, Tammiko joined Arkansas Children's as a Senior Administrative Assistant for the Foundation, where they assisted the Vice President of Philanthropy and other team members. Tammiko also handled donor acknowledgment and prospect tracking using RaisersEdge.
Most recently, Tammiko worked at Parkland Hospital again, from 2017 to 2019. In their role as an Executive Assistant for the Community Health Institute, they supported senior executives, managed calendars, and facilitated new hire onboarding. Additionally, they coordinated community health programs and initiatives.
Currently, Tammiko is working at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, providing comprehensive administrative support and managing external contacts.
Throughout their career, Tammiko has consistently exhibited strong administrative skills, including calendar management, travel arrangements, record-keeping, and communication.
Tammiko Jones, CHW, obtained a Community Health Worker Certificate from the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Public Health in 2018. Prior to that, they also received a Paralegal Certificate from the University of North Texas in 1993. In addition to these educational achievements, Tammiko holds additional certifications, including a Texas Barber - Class A license obtained from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation in March 2019, and a Community Health Worker License obtained from the Texas Department of State Health Services in December 2018.
