Akiva Lorenz

Akiva Lorenz, Ph.D., currently serves as a Program Analyst III for the Dallas Independent School District, where responsibilities include evaluating K-12 educational programs and preparing technical reports for government and stakeholders since February 2015. Prior to this, Akiva taught masters and doctoral level courses in statistics, evaluation, and measurement at Wayne State University from May 2012 to June 2015, and also worked as an Instructional Consultant to enhance course content. Earlier experience includes managing research and technology projects at the International Institute for Counter Terrorism from September 2004 to August 2007, focusing on open source intelligence and supporting key decision makers. Akiva holds a Ph.D. in Educational Evaluation and Research (Applied Statistics) from Wayne State University and a B.A. in Counter Terrorism, Intelligence, Government, Diplomacy, and Business Administration from Reichman University.
