Deirdre Mari

Deirdre Mari is an experienced educator currently serving as an IB Coordinator and Math Instructional Coach at the Dallas Independent School District since August 2014. With a background as a 3rd Grade Teacher, Deirdre has successfully implemented data-driven mathematics lessons, achieving over 93% student passing rates on district assessments. Prior experience includes roles as an Instructional Coach with Teach for America and a Corps Member focusing on community-driven educational solutions. Additional experience includes working as an Assistant Teacher at Bright Horizons Day Care and a Community Advisor at The College of New Jersey, where Deirdre facilitated programs on various developmental topics. Deirdre holds a Master of Education from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from The College of New Jersey.
