Keith Carter

Keith Carter, M.Ed, currently serves as the Director of Bands at Piedmont Global Academy within the Dallas Independent School District since August 2018. In addition to this role, Keith is a music composer and teaches private lessons at Lancaster Music Store, both positions held since July 2018. Keith's experience includes serving as the Director of Bands at Thomas Alva Edison Middle School from 2004 to September 2018, and as a G.E.D. Instructor at Navarro Junior College from September 2011 to September 2014. A dedicated member of These Are They Community Church since June 2012, Keith leads the Men's Ministry and serves as a Young Adults Minister. Previously, Keith held the position of Ordained Minister at New Faith Missionary Baptist Church from July 2004 to July 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Prairie View A&M University (2007-2009) and a Bachelor of Music in Education from the same institution (1997-2002).
