Kristin Colaneri

Kristin Colaneri is an accomplished theatre and film educator, currently serving as the Director of Theatre & Film at the Dallas Independent School District since August 2021. With extensive experience directing and producing artistic projects, Kristin previously held multiple roles at Junior Players, including Director, Creative Producer, and Teaching Artist, where large-scale productions and curriculum development were key responsibilities. Kristin has also contributed to arts education as a Fine Arts Coordinator at Brighter Horizons Academy, overseeing drama and film programs for grades 2-12, and has experience in administration and production management from past roles with BUTI LLC and Rhythmic Souls Dance Studio. Kristin holds a Master of Arts in Film/Theater/Art from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Film Certificate in Production & Screenwriting from New York University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Theater and Vocal Performance from Montclair State University.
