Lauro Garza

Lauro Garza is an experienced education and compliance professional currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent and Executive Director of Title IX, Equal Opportunity, Compliance and Investigative Services at Dallas Independent School District since January 2016. Prior to this role, Lauro held positions such as Internal Audit Manager for Investigations and Special Projects at Houston ISD and Vice President, Regional Investigator at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Lauro's career began in law enforcement with roles at Texas A&M University as a Criminal Investigator and Master Peace Officer, which transitioned into a focus on auditing and investigations. Lauro holds a Master of Jurisprudence in Risk Management from Texas A&M University School of Law, an M.B.A. in Business Administration from East Texas A&M University, and a B.A.Sc. in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Sam Houston State University.
