Sahara Khan is an experienced educator currently serving as a High School Aquatic Science Teacher at Dallas Independent School District since August 2019, where additional roles include sponsoring the PRISM inclusion club and the Green Club. Previously, Sahara worked as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher and participated in various extracurricular coaching roles, including Debate and Destination Imagination. Sahara held the position of Teach For America Food Justice Fellow with For Oak Cliff, focusing on food justice policy and community engagement. As a Corps Member for Teach For America, Sahara contributed to diversity and inclusion initiatives.
