Shantell Grant

Shantell Grant has extensive experience in educational administration, currently serving as the Executive Director of Board Services at Dallas Independent School District since November 2018, following a role as Project Manager in Human Capital Management. Prior to this, Shantell was the Director of Board Services at Houston ISD from September 2017 to November 2018. Shantell's career at Dallas Independent School District began in January 2007, progressing through various positions including Special Assistant to the Deputy Superintendent, Board Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent. Earlier professional experience includes working as a Police Dispatcher for Dallas County Community College and as an Executive Office Administrator at Pegasus Rehab and Therapy Center. Shantell Grant holds a degree from The University of Texas at Austin, earned between 1990 and 1995, and graduated from David W. Carter High School from 1986 to 1990.
