Currently serving as Manager of Parks Planning at Dallas Park and Recreation since October 2023, La'Kisha oversees parkland dedication funds and urban planning initiatives. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Consultant and Scientist at ERM, Development Project Facilitator for the City of Fort Worth, Senior Planner for the City of Dallas, Assistant City Planner in Hammond, and a Deputy Director of Planning for the City of Gary, where La'Kisha managed significant transportation projects. Educational credentials encompass a Master’s Degree in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science from Indiana University Northwest.
