Denton Bricker

Denton Bricker has had a diverse work experience throughout their career. Denton started as a Public Relations Intern at T3 in 2003. Denton then worked at Southern Methodist University from 2005 to 2022, where they held various positions such as Administrative Coordinator, Facilities Manager, and eventually Director of Operations. In these roles, Denton was responsible for managing and executing successful events and conferences in major venues across the university, as well as generating revenues through different programs. In 2022, Denton joined Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau as the Director of Festivals & Events, where they were responsible for organizing and overseeing various events like GrapeFest, Main Street Fest, and Christmas Capital of Texas. Denton's most recent position is as the Director of Events & Volunteer Services at Dallas Symphony Orchestra, which they started in 2023.

Denton Bricker completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations with a focus on Business Foundations and Communication Studies at The University of Texas at Austin from 2001 to 2004. Denton then furthered their education by attaining a Master's of Liberal Studies in Creative Writing from Southern Methodist University between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, Denton has obtained certifications in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2020. Denton also holds certifications in Child Protection Training, NIMS Tier II, and Red Cross Volunteer, although the exact dates and institutions for these certifications are not available.
