Katrina Mc Guinness has a diverse work experience in the field of music and orchestra management. Katrina is currently working as the Vice President of Artistic Operations at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Artistic Planning at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra from 2017 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for scheduling and programming various series and events, as well as developing a long-term vision for the organization. Before that, they worked as the Manager of Artistic Planning at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra from 2013 to 2017. Katrina also has experience as a Backstage Manager at The Irish Association of Youth Orchestras and as an Assistant Artist Manager/PA at HarrisonParrott. Katrina has held positions such as Orchestra Manager and Schedule Coordinator at the Aspen Music Festival and School.

Katrina Mc Guinness completed their education in Piano Performance with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, from 2001 to 2006. Katrina then pursued their Masters in Music in Piano Performance at Indiana University Bloomington, from 2006 to 2008. Finally, they earned a Performance Diploma from Indiana University Bloomington in 2008-2009.

Dallas Symphony Chorus

The Dallas Symphony Chorus is the official vocal ensemble of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. This all-volunteer organization consists of members who devote their time, effort and considerable talent to regularly scheduled rehearsals and performances with the Dallas Symphony, as well as appearances in the greater Dallas metroplex, across the United States and with orchestras in venues around the world.
