David Box is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in real estate and sports management. As the owner of Box Real Estate since 1990, David Box has developed a diverse portfolio that includes residential, commercial properties, and significant developments in Norman, Oklahoma. In addition to real estate, David Box has served as the Chief Executive Officer of The Greens Country Club since 2006 and has been the owner of Box Talent Agency Inc since December 1987, where a successful New Year's Eve event led to a career in talent management. David Box co-founded the Tulsa Shock, WNBA team, raising substantial funds to establish the franchise, which later transitioned to the Dallas Wings in 2016. David Box also served on the board of the INTEGRIS Health Foundation from 2006 to 2008. David Box holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Oklahoma.

The Dallas Wings are a professional basketball team based in Arlington, Texas, playing in the Western Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team was founded in Detroit, Michigan before the 1998 WNBA season began; the team moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma before the 2010 season; then moved to Dallas prior to the start of the 2016 season. The Dallas Wings play home games at the College Park Center on the University of Texas at Arlington campus.
