Deonna McMillian

Deonna McMillian, M.B.A., serves as the Digital Marketing Manager at the Dallas Zoo since June 2023. As the Founder and Executive Director of Black Excellence Night since February 2017, Deonna has demonstrated leadership and initiative. Previous roles include Marketing and Communications Manager at Oak View Group, Event Marketing Manager at WeWork, Group Event Coordinator for the LA Clippers, Social Media Marketing Manager at LOCAL HERO POST, Digital Media Consultant for The Dallas Morning News, and Marketing and Public Relations Specialist at The Exchange. Deonna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Business Administration in International Marketing and Management from Texas Woman's University.
