Geneve Darnell

Geneve Darnell currently serves as the Assistant Zoological Manager at the Dallas Zoo, a position held since 2023. Prior to this role, Geneve worked as a Penguin Biologist at Newport Aquarium from January 2020 to January 2023, focusing on the welfare and conservation of penguins. Geneve's career in zoology began at The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, where duties included supervision of birds from January 2009 to March 2019. Educationally, Geneve holds a Bachelor's degree in Developmental and Child Psychology from Cleveland State University, earned between 1985 and 1987.
