Ian Wheldon

Ian Wheldon is a seasoned tax and corporate structuring professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Group Head of Tax & Corporate Structuring/ESG at DAMAC Properties since September 2022, Ian previously held the same position at Agility from January 2014 to September 2022, where responsibilities included governance, compliance, and tax advisory for business units and subsidiaries. Prior roles include International Tax Leader in Kuwait and International Tax Director in Libya at EY, where Ian established the Kuwait international tax practice and grew operations in Libya. Earlier career highlights also include serving as Tax Director at Sysco, where Ian managed tax planning and compliance during significant mergers and acquisitions. Ian holds a Global Executive MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, earned between 2014 and 2016.
