Daniel Bestard Delgado

Daniel Bestard Delgado has a diverse background in data science and machine learning. Daniel co-founded Damavis, a big data studio specializing in building datalakes, real-time applications, and machine learning solutions. In this role, they designed, developed, and implemented machine learning models using Python and Scala. Prior to that, Daniel was a Data Scientist at Bluekiri, a startup within the Logitravel Group, where they worked on projects such as designing a graph database in Neo4j and optimizing queries for flight combinations. Daniel also gained experience as a Data Science Intern at Accenture, where they set up datasets for a Hackathon and implemented time series models for demand predictions.

Daniel Bestard Delgado has a diverse education history in the field of data science and statistics. Daniel completed their MSc in Data Science at the Barcelona School of Economics from 2016 to 2017. Prior to this, they pursued an MSc in Statistical Data Analysis at Ghent University from 2014 to 2016. In 2014, they had the opportunity to participate in an exchange program at UCLA, where they focused on statistics.

Daniel's undergraduate education was in Economics with a specialization in Statistics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel obtained several certifications that have enhanced their expertise in the field. Daniel completed several courses on the Google Cloud Platform and Machine Learning on Coursera between January and March 2018. Prior to that, in 2015, they became a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9, achieving an impressive score of 94 out of 100.
