Niels Haakman

Niels Haakman is an accomplished business development consultant with extensive experience in project and contract management within various industries, including offshore engineering, aquaculture, and shipbuilding. Currently, Niels serves as a Business Development Consultant at RHEA Group, focusing on Concurrent Design implementations, and also works with Sea Forrest on vessel decarbonization initiatives. As Project Director at Pan Ocean Aquaculture, Niels oversees the development of offshore aquaculture farms for diverse species. Previous roles include management positions at Damen Shipyards Group and Seatools BV, where Niels spearheaded significant improvements in sales processes and project management. Niels holds multiple degrees from Delft University of Technology and has contributed to marketing and strategic consulting efforts in prior positions, including Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore and SBM Offshore.
