Samir Qassemi

Samir Qassemi currently serves as the Head of Global Finance & Supply Chain at Action Damien - Damiaanactie since October 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing financial operations and supply chain activities while ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness. Previously, Samir held the position of Head of Global Finance at Interpeace from May 2022 to September 2023, where management of a team of 21 and a budget exceeding $30 million was key to enhancing financial well-being and mitigating risk. Samir also gained extensive experience at Search for Common Ground from December 2010 to April 2022, performing various finance leadership roles across regions including West Africa, Central and South Africa, and MENA, with responsibility for substantial portfolios and grant management. Early career experience includes finance and administrative roles in Yemen and accounting management with Agence Française de Développement.
